Circus Classes for Pre-Schoolers – aged 2-4

 

Step right up! We invite all preschool children and their parents to join CTA’s Little Cirque circus classes! 🤡 Watch as your little one builds confidence and learns new skills in this exciting and playful environment.

Little Cirque classes are crafted for toddlers and preschoolers nurturing their natural curiosity and infectious energy for imaginary and risky play in a safe, structured environment. Little Cirque participants will move through a progression of levels, that build upon both aerial apparatus and circus prop skills. Each class includes age appropriate warmups, strength based games, supported aerial work and circus prop activities. We know that the early years are crucial for building confidence and coordination - what more fun way to do that then at the circus!

 

Little Cirque is a specially designed programme developed in Australia for dance schools around the globe, and it’s perfect for both boys and girl! In our classes, students progress through level cards, allowing each child to advance at their own pace without pressure, all while enjoying a sense of accomplishment. This programme is fantastic for fostering cognitive development, strength, flexibility, and, most importantly, confidence.

 

🤸 Classes include basic tumbling, interactive circuits, balance beams, aerial silks, juggling, hula hoops, and so much more—all under the guidance of our fully qualified teachers.

 

Each session begins with a warm-up and a friendly greeting from Bobo the Monkey, setting the stage for a fun-filled circus adventure! Our instructors will lead pre-schoolers through various circus activities, and as they master new skills, they will receive certificates to celebrate their achievements before moving on to the next level.

 

We understand that it may take a few weeks for your little one to settle into this new environment during their initial parent and toddler sessions. Meeting new friends, learning to use new equipment, and exploring a fresh space can be a big challenge for young children. Remember, it’s perfectly normal for them to take their time. The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) recognises any pre-schooler who embraces a new environment, even if they start by simply observing. This is a wonderful sign that they are ready to embark on this exciting new chapter of their journey!
