At Chiswick Theatre Arts your child can begin their dance journey at
18 months with our Pre-School Programme. Students can then move up to Primary Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz and progress further to the higher grades.
In addition, classes are offered in Street Dance and Drama (LAMDA)
We also have a very strong musical theatre syllabus with students featuring in our annual shows. Past shows include Annie Jr, Alice in Wonderland Jr, Honk Jr, Bugsy Malone Jr, Oliver, Beauty and The Beast, Singin' in the Rain, 10th Anniversary Show and
Dancing Through The Decades at The Questors Theatre in Ealing.
Enrolment is on a termly basis and we accept
new enrolments mid term (payment pro-rata).

Ballet, Tap, Modern
Ballet will help to develop poise, co-ordination, discipline, musicality and expression through
the enjoyment of classical dance. The lessons are graded and follow the Imperial Society of
Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) syllabus. Pupils are able to take examinations. Classes for 2-8 years (1st Ballet to Primary Ballet) and 8-17 years (Grade 1 to Grade 6 Ballet)
Tap is one of the most rhythmic forms of dance and applies aspects of tempo, rhythm, patterns,
isolations and basic beats and steps. We study the ISTD graded syllabus which has recently
been updated and is trendy, fun and modern. The children absolutely love it!
Classes for 3-5 years (Tip Tap Toe & Groovy Moves) and 8 -18 years (Grade 1 to Grade 6 Tap)
Modern Dance combines modern, jazz and other dance styles to train young people to
become disciplined and versatile dancers who have a professional attitude towards dance.
The lessons are graded and follow the ISTD syllabus.
Classes for 5-16 years (Grade 1 - Grade 6 Modern)
Musical Theatre, Drama
Musical Theatre classes for 4-8 years and 9-18 years combines singing, dancing and acting to build
confidence, imagination and stage craft. Many friends will be made on the journey to our
musical theatre production at our Annual Show at Questors Theatre.
Drama is a fun way to build confidence and use the imagination. We hold classes for 9-14 years
(CTA Drama School) and London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) classes for 6-16 years.
Street Dance, Jazz
Learn the latest funky Street Dance moves with our trendy,
funky Street Dance teachers and become part of the CTA Crew.
Classes for Minis (4-7 years), Juniors (6-12 years),
Pre-Seniors (9-12 years) and Crew (12 years +)
Our Jazz classes are for 4-8 years (Junior Jazz), 9-16 years (Senior Jazz) &
12 + years (Commercial Jazz)
