Your CTA Performing Arts Journey
We have created pathways and curriculum goals at every stage in your child’s journey at CTA and offer expert instructors in each genre to inspire, train our students and guide each student to the best possible journey they can have at CTA.
At CTA we believe that dance is for everyone! All dancers and performers at all levels are welcome here. Whether you attend CTA for fun, fitness, friendship or to follow your dreams, our dancers and performers are supported by the most caring, creative, knowledgeable teachers in the business. For beginners through pre-professional, our mission is to encourage and empower our students to reach their full potential and to provide an excellent performing arts education in dance, drama, musical theatre and film making.
For our more serious performers in dance, drama or musical theatre, we also offer the opportunity to be part of our intensive programmes which offer more performance opportunities including for our dance and drama students the opportunity to participate in competitions.
We are so thrilled to have just celebrated our 12-year anniversary and to have our first students who have been dancing with us for 12 years graduate from CTA this summer. Our graduates have been on a wonderful journey with CTA over the last 12 years - and we know they will be friends for life!
We are CTA Performing Arts: a community of teachers, parents and students supporting the passion for dance and the performing arts.
All About CTA
Chiswick Theatre Arts was founded in September 2008 by its Principal Miss Georgina Burns. Although CTA is a very young school it has grown rapidly with new students discovering CTA by word of mouth. The school started life in a very small studio on the popular Devonshire Road, Chiswick and then expanded to larger purpose designed premises at the beginning of 2010.

Testimonials - what CTA parents are saying about us...
It was wonderful. Aggy’s little face lit up when she saw Miss Emma. In times of flux children look for pillars…Miss Emma (and CTA) is a pillar.
Thank you everyone for making this happen. I know there is such a lot of effort that goes into making a success of all this! You are definitely heroes and we thank you.
That was fantastic! Please pass on BIG THANKS to Miss Emma. So lovely to see her, and get a little bit of normality back.
I would like to take this moment to express once more my sincere gratitude for your continued support. Furthermore, I wanted to reiterate that I am truly blown away by your professional response to this most extraordinary situation. I truly hope that a greater touch of kindness will stay with the human kind...Your efforts are very much appreciated, your love and passion deeply felt!
Thanks so much for the absolutely brilliant way you're all handling this bizarre situation. CTA has been so agile and responsive to the change - incredible. And we're so happy to continue to support you!
Just wanted to say an enormous thank you to Maddie for the Wicked workshop this morning…she’s been a bit down because of missing school, and this cheered her right up and left her truly energised!
Just to say a big thank you to all the team at CTA - really glad that Roseanna has the normal routine of Miss Emma's classes to look forward to during these difficult times.
Thank you very much for the amazing classes we enjoyed at CTA and the immediate online classes. I have shared your virtual workshops with friends outside London and it’s been very useful with the lockdown.
Thanks so much! Miss Emma is amazing and we really applaud you all for getting so many lovely online classes up and running so well and so quickly!
