CTA Performing Arts is one of London’s premiere dance and drama studios with training that starts from 2 years and continues through to pre-professional across every genre in dance: ballet, jazz, commercial, street dance, modern, contemporary, lyrical, acro and tap and in Performing Arts (Musical Theatre, LAMDA).
Your CTA Performing Arts Journey
We have created pathways and curriculum goals at every stage in your child’s journey at CTA and offer expert instructors in each genre to inspire, train our students and guide each student to the best possible journey they can have at CTA.
At CTA we believe that dance is for everyone! All dancers and performers at all levels are welcome here. Whether you attend CTA for fun, fitness, friendship or to follow your dreams, our dancers and performers are supported by the most caring, creative, knowledgeable teachers in the business. For beginners through pre-professional, our mission is to encourage and empower our students to reach their full potential and to provide an excellent performing arts education in dance, drama, musical theatre and film making.
Company Programmes
For our more serious performers in dance, drama or musical theatre, we also offer the opportunity to be part of our intensive programmes which offer more performance opportunities including for our dance and drama students the opportunity to participate in competitions.
We are so thrilled to have just celebrated our 12-year anniversary and to have our first students who have been dancing with us for 12 years graduate from CTA this summer. Our graduates have been on a wonderful journey with CTA over the last 12 years - and we know they will be friends for life!
We are CTA Performing Arts: a community of teachers, parents and students supporting the passion for dance and the performing arts.
All About CTA
Chiswick Theatre Arts was founded in September 2008 by its Principal Miss Georgina Burns. Although CTA is a very young school it has grown rapidly with new students discovering CTA by word of mouth. The school started life in a very small studio on the popular Devonshire Road, Chiswick and then expanded to larger purpose designed premises at the beginning of 2010.
